New State Government policy to drive changes in management of short-term accommodation
The proposed Tourism Guidelines give direction to local governments on managing short-term rental accommodation. Under the proposed policy, providers of short-term rental accommodation within Western Australia would be required to register their property to operate and advertise, including on online booking platforms.
