FRANKIE J Holden and his wife, Michelle Pettigrove, fell in love with the caravan park industry while working on What's Up Downunder.
They bought the beachfront Tathra Beach Family Park 2 1/2 years ago with two other couples.
In the recent NSW South Coast regional tourism awards they received a highly commended for the park and were finalists in the Family Friendly Award.
Holden says he loves the interaction with guests who are often privy to an impromptu gig from his days as Ol' 55 frontman but gives "cleaning the toilets a miss".
